The "Sell Dollar" saga continues - another bad IFO number couldnot shake the dollar bears (sic euro bulls) and the manupulation story found in a link on FF earlier today gains credence. Havent seen fundamentals being so brazenly defied and each day one gets see higher highs. When will this so called aberration end. What about those of you who have short aussie and kiwi cash - you must be incurring a whoppy carry cost - unless markets moves down by many big figs, profits must be not worth the risk. need to know one name in this forum who saw this oz and kiwi rally much before and didnt short these pairs unlike the many Pros... Need a crash course on currency dynamics that defies funamentals... anyone there!!!

Revdax 15:32.. unfortunately Chinese Valentine come a day late as there was not love lost for all those who got wiped out by yesterday's market aberration.. that said, with yesterday's high capping, euro is 50 pips away from painting a rare "Daily Double Gravestone" embedded within a modified "4 bar Monthly Sell Fractal".. a vely rare L/M/Term topping/reversal formation..

euro @1.3250

HK Kevin 13:12 GMT//There will be NO another round of $ sell-off tonight. It is the Chinese Valentine's Day today, and a full moon day...and a day to take a rest ***for what went up yesterday.

sgp sp 10:46.. happy golden Rooster pips for you too.. expect the Dollar to base & consolidate near term between Index 83-85 before pushing above 85.. sustained weekly closes above 86 will confirm a significant milestone for a L/T Dollar recovery from its 3 year downtrend & place the Euro/Swissy twin within their 1.25 cross over zones..

Hi Gecko,
Not too late to wish u Happy Lunar New Year, trying to join the SS Brigade, oda parked at 6942.....waiting for it to be filled. Do you still see eur/usd going towards 1.25 from here?

excellent Dollar accummulation distribution levels across the board for m/t bulls & bears here at/near the low end of the correction channel prior to pushing up into higher grounds..

meanwhile, EUR/GBP is set to resume its merry march down to the .6800 intermediate attractor after the recent bounce..
with increasing odds for the cross having printed the high for the year, corrective bounces infront of .6950 are good r/r opportunities for wannabe members to join the SS Brigade..fwiw..

Good point Gecko the eur/usd pair has confined its play around the retracement numbers and T/L so far. With the daily indicators still bearish and weekly also turning bearish this could trigger a deeper downfall for this pair in the future but key supports must be taken out soon before this process is to begin IMHO. I am still a sell on rallies on this pair until the 3250-60 resistance is taken out. GT

van Gecko 15:06 GMT February 4, 2005
good morning OMIL.. hope you are fine.. with the Chinese year of the Rooster now 5 days away, seems like 'long' Dollar is still the near term focus here as most Asian players wouldn't like to be 'short' ending & starting a new year..:))

"eur/usd & usd/chf now converging from multi-year diametrically opposite extreme levels.. sometime in the near future, the twins will meet at/near 1.25 then say good bye to each other for a long long time.." ie.

converging to 1.25
eur/usd 1.36->1.32->1.30-> * 1.25 <-1.19<-1.17<-1.13 usd/chf

diverging from 1.25
usd/chf 1.36<-1.32<-1.30<- * 1.25 ->1.19->1.17->1.13 eur/usd

a month into the new year & last years Q4 Dollar Bear Brigade are still in hibernation.. looks like the Q1 Dollar Bull Brigade is now focusing on * 1.25 * for the Conti twins..
the EUR/GBP .6800 intermediate attractor now in sight for the SS Brigade..
Cheerios..
