revdax.. shoot it here infront of 1.2770.. add another shot on break of 1.2738.. & add more booster rockets on break of the figure.. then go drink coffee in Starbuck or go eat caviar & watch the Hooter leggies & watch your s/t fx piggy bank get filled with pips next week..
HK Kevin 13:57.. Lahore FM 13:59.. thanks for your views..
have a nice w/e..

Lahore FM 13:59 GMT June 30, 2006
Gecko 13:48
Quite agree there Gecko and a propos of your post here is an earlier observation.
Lahore FM 12:31 GMT June 27, 2006
Euro strength on crosses all across may turn out to be the saviour and result in end of the bear run since 1.2970.

HK Kevin 13:57 GMT June 30, 2006
van Gecko 13:48 GMT, I also expect a low of gold and commodity currencies to be formed in July. By the way, market will tell.

van Gecko 13:48 GMT June 30, 2006
euro couldn't poke its head above 1.30 in May when it had the support from all its crosses.. the crosses also save it from diving below the 1.25 line in June.. July may be interesting times for the master now that its slave crosses are exhibiting corrective signs across the board.. fwiww..

HK Kevin 13:47 GMT June 30, 2006
hk revdax 13:38 GMT, better explore opps at cross trades.
For next week, it may be trade less, loss less.

hk revdax 13:47 GMT June 30, 2006
HK Kevin 13:43 //i think BC's team is very interested in eating up the stops of the caviar traders at GVI....LOL By the way, where is Moscow Mi. Have not seen him here for a while.

van Gecko 10:47 GMT June 30, 2006
Sofia Kaprikorn 09:16..imo the contrarian bias for the Dollar's rise from May is in fine form with the market injecting some needed s/t liquidities for m/t Dollar Sons Of Beatrices to play.. the s/t picture for the Euro is always a bit distored due to the overwhleming number of bulls still harbouring dreams from 2002 buying at dips & piling into peaks for 1.50..
gl.

Sofia Kaprikorn 09:16 GMT June 30, 2006
van Gecko //
hi, just wanted to say that I also feel you r right on the Contrarian trading view - I remember very well when the last NFP got out it sparked just the same 150+pips rally just to see the same pre-data levels revisited 1-2 days after...

actually it is up to the equity and position size that counts to withstand another bull trap before the reversal..
would appreciate any comments...

hk revdax 08:35 GMT June 30, 2006
van Gecko 08:28//i think there is a greater than 50% chance that we have seen today's top in Euro/$...imo. Tomorrow may tell a different story tho.

van Gecko 08:28 GMT June 30, 2006

Shenzhen Laowen 07:50.. yep.. a vely good risk vs potential reward BS play here at the low end of the m/t range/triangle..
gl..
hk revdax 07:41.. depending which side they are on, some players are in 'count dough/lick wound' mode after the recent dollar rise.. while some are still scare pip'less by this 'whippy fx cesspool' & may be still on the side-line waiting for that 'perfect trend'..

Shenzhen Laowen 07:50 GMT June 30, 2006
van Gecko 07:25 what your view on GBP/CHF now? Is 2.25~2.26 a B/S entry point now? thx and gt~

hk revdax 07:41 GMT June 30, 2006
Is there any world class caviar-eating trader out there who would venture to short Euro/$ at this time? tks

van Gecko 07:25 GMT June 30, 2006
the push above euro 1.2660 was a classic bully squeeze during non-liquid wee wee hours.. wouldn't be surprised to see a low or sub 1.26 intraday reverse squeeze by London & Chicago bears from here..

van Gecko 06:10 GMT June 30, 2006
The Dollar getting some short term liquidities from excited bears for another mid term push..
6+ figures of Sterling pips for 4 weeks of Sell & Snooze play ain't too shabby pay for her majesty's loyal Sons Of Beatrices.. for those that got left behind holding the bags, this is how not to go about doing pip'less enlargement.. :)) FwIwW..

shanghai bc 03:15 GMT June 30, 2006
Usd/Jpy may punch through 20dma this time..Strong yen crosses may help its speed of decline though..Dollar may fall at least till late July..

shanghai bc 01:18 GMT June 30, 2006
Eur/usd is likely to test 1.30 again in coming days and possibly breaks above that too in time..6 weeks of Dollar bounce may be over..

shanghai bc 00:32 GMT June 23, 2006
Dollar bounce since mid-May is not over yet..It is simply that our boys have been just lucky to keep Eur/Usd 1.25 dam still intact which gives the impression of firm Euro..On yen, expecting 110--120 range to prevail for the remainder of the year..

Cheerios to all patient Sons Of Beatrices SOB'ing her majesty & cousins for 8 to 10 Big figures mid term payday.."

the path of the yellow metal;

"08:40 GMT May 16, 2006
potential classic 'V' correction/reversal in the works for the yellow metal after failing to crack the old 1980 decending highs in one go.. wiping out the recent 200 dollar vertical rise in the same rapid fashion could gift wrap another 1.20 Euro, 550 gold (gift or dung?)"

Up
the stairs,

Down
the elevator..

pandemonium setting in.. bulls can now look forward to the $500 psycho level with joy..
Cheerios..

revdax 14:18.. imo the great risk vs 'potential reward' for her majesty's brave m/t short marching soldiers was up at the 1.89/90 inflection band.. anyways, riding intraday trains vs m/t trains requires different risk adjusted tactics..

"06:49 GMT June 7, 2006
GBP..yesterday's session close below 1.8650 after another failure infront of 1.89 confirming more strength for this "IBS" dollar leg.. a weekly close below 1.85 could jump start another 5 figure Merry Go South Slide down to 1.80.."

we now have multi-day close below the dipping daily 21ma..
FxWorksInWackyWays..

hk revdax 14:18 GMT June 9, 2006
van Gecko 13:53//well, it is always hard to get in at the middle of the train. wait a bit and see if there presents a favorable r/r chance for entry.

van Gecko 13:53 GMT June 9, 2006
hk revdax 13:33.. vely precision intraday "British bomb"! now you have some surplus pips to ride the GBP 1/2 session train up at the 1.85 zones..
gl.

hk revdax 13:33 GMT June 9, 2006
bot gbp at 8385 and now out at 8462....lightning never strikes twice..LOL

van Gecko 07:33 GMT June 9, 2006
hk revdax 07:06.. her majesty GBP performed its patented Olympic medal dive in perfection.. now 1/2 way to my 10 figure mid term target zone.. a near term bounce up to the 1.8520/50 converging falling daily & 1/2 session 21ma zones can't be ruled out to replenish the fuel tanks for 1.80..
cheerios..

hk revdax 07:06 GMT June 9, 2006
van Gecko 06:39 //To buy GBP for a rebound is against the very maxim of trading or 'trend being your friend'. Yes/No???

van Gecko 06:39 GMT June 9, 2006
Market doing the "Itchy Goochy Iggy $Bear Squeeze" dance at its finest..

GBP @1.8430 down from 1.8850
Euro @ 1.2630 down from 1.2970

Citi Go Short Cable
Technical analysts at Citi went short cable@1.8565 with a stop@1.8665 and an initial downside target of 1.8250. Cit says they await further confirmation of the downtrend which would be seen if major support at 1.8500/10 breaks. "that range was very important in the 2005 downmovebut the really pivotal level on sterling on the way up was 1.7935 which this development would not threaten" the analysts write.

van Gecko 08:02 GMT June 7, 2006
iw.. yes, hard to kick those old regal habits..:)

Helsinki iw 07:45 GMT June 7, 2006
Gecko, she has been getting ready for that for some time now, hasn't she? A touch of nerves in front of the leap?

van Gecko 07:40 GMT June 7, 2006

What is "IBS" ? tia

van Gecko 14:23 GMT June 1, 2006
I doubt if the market will let all those complacent dollar bears & late comers off the hook so easily on this "IBS" leg..

euro @1.2818

van Gecko 12:02 GMT June 1, 2006
Unlike all those common waterfall moves, theres good underlying strength behind this "IBS" dollar rise.. contra trading for a bounce may be h'issing good pips into the wind.. FwIwW..

van Gecko 07:12 GMT June 1, 2006
" 11:49 GMT May 30, 2006
its all about opposing camps jockeying for month end bias.. as Fx does not work in a one way street fashion the market can expect counter moves from the other side at certain major levels.. FwIwW..
looks like a 'last' kick in the can for the euro.."

After an impulsive run up in April, Euro & GBP spent the whole month of May failing to break over 1.30 & 1.91.. pretty good odds for the European cousins had meet their m/t inflection zones..
