iw 11:13.. morning, don't know..
imo it doesn't matter if one is a bull or bear in this biz, what really matter is to avoid being a 'sacrifical pig' to the market.. no?
Helsinki iw 11:13 GMT March 31, 2006
Gecko, you reckon there are more euro bulls than bears out there?
van Gecko 11:02 GMT March 31, 2006
Look for more Quarter & month end European panic liquidation once the North America M/T bulls had their morning coffee & realize that after yesterday's impulsive spike, not only had the euro once again failed to sustain last months high but also give up almost a figure of their profits to the London boys over-night.. fwiww..
Auckland trotter 10:35 GMT March 31, 2006
Does anyone see the EUR/USD having bottomed at around 1.1281 - a level on the 1hr 20day chart?

Swissy cross 101 basics.. with real money pushing eur/chf above the 28 month high targeting multi-year highs plus gbp/chf well supported above the 2.25/27 zones, the odds are biased for Dollar/Swissy to remain resilient and consolidate in a side to up channel targeting new highs.. on a side note, if one is M/T bullish gbp/chf then you shouldn't be bearish usd/chf.. can't have it both way.. fwiw..
hong kong nt 14:16 GMT March 24, 2006
USD/CHF lower highs + lower lows on daily chart, price fails to go above 1.3200 or y'day's high after DOUBLE better than expected US figure..

HSBC Analyst David Bloom on Carry Trade Carnage from players running for the exits at the same time
we are most bullish about is a carry trade bust up. We believe this year, players soaked into the Yen carry trade will be forced to run for the exits at the same time and some serious carnage will be done in dollar/yen and the Yen crosses. On March 8th, we published our math of how we get to a sub 100 dollar/yen:
(1)End of easy money policy+ (2)higher rates+(3)yuan moves+(4)carry trade collapse=sub 100 dollar/yen.
We now add an end to the Fed tightening cycle and possible rate cuts in the US by the end of the year

Quacking 'QDN' right on que as usual..
March 20 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg survey shows..
Sixty-one percent of the 51 traders, strategists and investors surveyed on March 17 from Sydney to New York advised selling the dollar against the euro.

GBP is not going anywhere soon within the framwork of the present inter-market dynamics.. her majesty is looking like a load of Sterling dung..
